TMEP Communicates Impact in D.C.

The Tennessee Manufacturing Extension Partnership (TMEP) leadership team participated in Hill Day 2023, an event facilitated by the American Small Manufacturers Coalition.

During Hill Day, MEP Centers from across the U.S. attend meetings with congressional representatives in order to meet and educate them on the value of the Manufacturing Extension programs.

The TMEP team at UT CIS has continued to make a positive impact in Tennessee's communities, and 2022 was no exception. In fact, TMEP helped Tennessee manufacturers generate $948,211,150 in economic impact, helped create 391 jobs and helped retain 1,647 jobs last year. That's something to talk about!

The MEP National Network houses 51 MEP Centers, located in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.
