Compressed Air Systems: Costs and Strategies

Consider your plant’s compressed air system for a moment.

Most people think of it as an essential part of plant operations doing all sorts of work like supplies to air wrenches, opening and closing valves, operation of machinery solenoids, and air-operated pistons.

However, did you know that compressed air can be one of the most wasted resources in your facility? As much as 90% of the electrical power used for making compressed air is wasted in the air compression phase and is lost to the environment as heat of compression. The remaining ten percent is often not used efficiently.

If you are looking for technology to help you understand your compressed air costs and determine strategies to make your compressed air system more efficient, we are hosting a webinar in late summer to help you.

We are conducting a survey to understand what energy topics Tennessee's manufacturers would like to know more about in this webinar. Please take a moment to let us know if you would like more information about compressed air systems.

Come participate in the discussion and learn about ways in which you can save money and improve the efficiency of your compressed air system.
