Hazard communication

Hazard Communication (HAZCOM) is the foundation of a workplace chemical safety program. Yet, it is the standard most cited by Tennessee’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (TOSHA). This workshop will cover the basics of an effective HAZCOM Program and the mandatory requirements, along with the most cited sections. Learn what our employees must know when Tennessee OSHA visits a facility, and receive a Tennessee OSHA DVD on HAZCOM for use in training programs. Lastly, specific Tennessee requirements will be identified, such as required annual training.
