Small Business Innovation Research Forum Coming to Tennessee

Each year, Federal agencies spend over $1 Billion in Research and Development (R&D) through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program. Come to the SBIR/STTR Technology & Commercialization Forum held in Nashville on July 23rd to understand how to take advantage of these R&D contract/grant opportunities.

"This type of training is not available anywhere else in Tennessee," says PTAC counselor Russell Toone. "Small businesses are often unaware of the resources available to them through R & D grants and contracts. This is a unique opportunity to explore funding opportunities with the Department of Defense, and other federal agencies. Topics range from computer software and hardware applications, advanced/additive manufacturing innovations, physical science, human factors engineering, and more."
