PTAC Hosts Memphis Construction Connections and Training Conference

 

Despite these unprecedented times, Tennessee Procurement Technical Assistance Center is still committed to providing our clients with quality training and connecting them with government agencies and large primes for contract opportunities. In fact, the Tennessee Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) hosted our first virtual conference on July 23rd. The Memphis Construction and Connections Training was co-sponsored by the Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Southwest Technical Community Colleges and City of Memphis Office of Business Diversity and Compliance. The conference enabled over 200 attendees to hear from agencies such as Shelby County Government, City of Memphis, Memphis International Airport, and State of Tennessee Governor’s Office of Diversity Business Enterprise. “What we loved about the conference is that attendees were able to virtually connect with buyers from the Tennessee Valley Authority and NASA. The attendees never had to leave the comfort of their homes or office to be provided with technical assistance” said PTAC Counselor, Veronica Clark. See below feedback from attendees:
