ISO 9001: 2000 Internal Auditor

This in-depth interactive course is designed for those currently involved with quality auditing and for new internal auditors who wish to become proficient at using this standard. Internal auditing is among the most important steps on the road to achieving, maintaining, and improving your quality system. Topics include
  • Understanding ISO 9001:2000
    Review of the requirements, including interpretations of difficult to understand clauses and getting to really “know” what the standard requires
  • Implementation
    Practical strategies for implementing and improving your quality management system to achieve compliance with the 2000 standard and do it effectively and efficiently
  • Quality System Audits
    Internal auditor qualification, communication skills, handling conflicts, auditing do’s and don’ts, planning and preparation for audits, performing audits, auditor maintenance
  • Corrective Action
    Audit follow-up, getting to root causes of non-conformance issues, verifying corrective action, and satisfying your registrar
  • Auditing Exercises
    Opportunities to practice newly acquired skills in a non-threatening environment with mock drills and exercises designed to reinforce understanding of the standard and auditing techniques.

ISO/TS 16949:2002 Internal Auditor

With the Big Three automakers having phased out support of QS-9000 Quality System Requirements, the International Automotive Task Force has issued the ISO/TS 16949:2002 technical specification. If you are an automotive supplier who is already registered to either QS-9000 or ISO/TS 16949:1999, you must upgrade to ISO/TS 16949:2002 or ISO 9001:2000, depending on your situation. This in-depth, interactive course is for automotive supply chain manufacturers who must conduct internal audits of their quality management system. Course topics include

  • Understanding ISO/TS 16949
    A review of the requirements, “process approach,” and customer oriented processes, including interpretations of difficult clauses and really “knowing” the specification
  • Quality Management System Audits

ISO/TS 16949:2002 & ISO 14001 EMS dual System—Internal Auditor

This in-depth, interactive course is designed for those involved with automotive supply chain manufacturing and joint quality/environmental management system audit requirements. This course will help you maintain your internal audit team’s credentials or train new talent. TMEP can train your entire team to conduct audits on both automotive quality and environmental system requirements. This three-day course can be delivered at your facility.
