Energy Management Certificate IThis course is the first class in a series that offers plant engineers, maintenance engineers, and other designated employees the ability to earn knowledge-based certificates for learning how to measure and control energy in their facilities. By successfully completing a series of the three energy management courses, the plant personnel should be able to pass the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Lighting Energy Professional (CLEP) exams offered by the Association of Energy Engineers. The class will strengthen the participants’ knowledge about the systems they operate and how to control or reduce energy for each process in the plant.This course is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon. This course can also be delivered on-site at your facility. Contact your field agent for more information on any service we provide. Energy Management Certificate IIThis course is the second class in a series that offers plant engineers,
maintenance engineers, and other designated employees the ability
to earn knowledge-based certificates for learning how to control
energy in their facilities. This class will go into depth about
energy-using systems. It will prepare participants to conduct
audits and determine the economic feasibility of implementing
energy improvement measures. Funding sources for implementing
measures without having to secure capital from the company will
also be discussed. Federal tax credits for retrofitting existing
systems (up to $1.80/square foot) and how to document retrofits
will be explained. Verification forms for the Internal Revenue
Service will be provided. Completion of the Energy Management
