OSHA: Making 2020 Safer

By Bryan Lane, UT CIS OSHA Consultant

If your new year’s resolutions for 2020 include making your workplace safer and more OSHA-compliant, please keep in mind that UT CIS offers services that could help you achieve this goal.

Emergency Preparedness and Response

  • Permit-Required Confined Space Rescue
  • Trenching and Excavation Training
  • Rigging Instruction
  • HAZWOPER

OSHA Compliance Assistance

  • Safety audits and program reviews conducted at your workplace complete with written report of findings
  • OSHA 10 and 30 hour classes conducted on-site
  • DOT and Hazmat training and assistance

UT CIS is also an OSHA Training Institute Education Center, so if you would like to learn more about the OSHA standards, you could take the OSHA #511 for General Industry standards or the 510 for Construction standards.

If you are a safety manager or director, or if you would like to become an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer and conduct the OSHA 10 and 30 hour classes yourself, we also offer the General Industry (501) and Construction (500) outreach trainer classes as well. There are a lot of options for whatever needs your organization may have.
